 LLANFAIRPWLL MEMORIAL HALL STEERING COMMITTEE

 Following two public meetings it has been decided to set up a free standing committee to improve/renovate or re build the Memorial Hall with a view of making it a public facility to be proud of and have set a target of 2014 which would be a fitting way to commemorate the onset of the First World War and its fallen heroes in whose memory the hall was originally built.

In order to achieve this and obtain grants we must raise money locally which is termed as ‘matched funds’.  At this early stage we cannot set a  monetary target as we are not sure what changes are needed to the old building.  The Community Council have plans but these are now dated and need to to be updated to cater for technological advancement.

We are circulating every household and business in order to ascertain the views, opinions and response of all inhabitants in the form of a questionnaire and would appreciate your response as soon as possible but at the latest by January 10^th 2012 which is the date set for the next public meeting.
